Birth of James Grant, S.J.

Father James Grant was born on 15 February 1937 in Montreal and entered the Jesuit Fathers of the English Province of Canada on 15 August 1960. He was ordained to the priesthood on 30 May 1970. He was stationed on the First Nations reserves at Infant Jesus Parish in Longlac from 1971 to 1975. For a few years he retired from active ministry and then returned in 2010 to St. Anne’s Jesuit Parish in Thunder Bay where he died on August 22, 2016.
